PT Duta Graha Indah Tbk (DGIK) won a new contract of the development of Pagar Alam Airport City in South Sumatra worth of IDR 216.2 billion. The contract includes the construction of 1,400 meters runway, Apron, Taxiway and Overrun. The construction is targeted to be completed in September 2012. Dudung Purwadi, the President Director of Duta Graha, said that the airport project is the largest outside Java infrastructure projects. Previously, the company has worked on airport projects, such as Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar and Kualanamu in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
Beside airport, the company also plans to work on other infrastructure projects, such as Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) for electricity generation to increase business growth and achieve sustainable income.
Until the first half of 2010, revenue contribution from the infrastructure segment reached 41.8%, or IDR 216 billion. Meanwhile, revenue contribution from the building segment reached 58.2% or IDR 300.4 billion. Geographically, Jakarta area gives a revenue of IDR 95.6 billion and a non-Jakarta area gives a revenue of IDR 420.8 billion. The company won an IDR 1.14 trillion new contracts until September 2010, or 57% of 2010 target amounted to IDR 2 trillion.
